PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability and miniaturize a steering wheel column 19 part by mounting a reduction gear and conical link mechanisms 101, 72 to a single stay 102 in compact and with light weight. SOLUTION: A variable transmission mechanism 170 for steering is connected to a steering wheel 18 through the reduction gear and the conical link mechanisms 101, 72, and the reduction gear and the conical link mechanism 101, 72 are mounted in a cantilever shape on the single stay 102 of the steering wheel column 19.
