PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens for projection realizing the shift adjustment of a lens arranged in an exterior case and having simple structure, and a projector equipped with the lens for projection. SOLUTION: The lens for projection is equipped with: the cylindrical exterior case 221 on whose side surface a lens-shifting through-hole 225 is made and which is equipped with a shoulder on an inner peripheral surface or an inner flange 223; a lens 210 whose outer periphery part 211 of either surface abuts on the shoulder on the inner peripheral surface or the inner flange 223; a flexible or elastic spacer 260 abutting on the outer periphery part 212 of the other surface of the lens 210; and a retainer 270 pressing the spacer 260, wherein the lens 210 is fixed to the exterior case 221. Furthermore, the spacer 260 is provided with an annular projected line and a circular-arc shaped projected line or a nearly crest-shaped projection 261 arranged on the circumference of the spacer.
