PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply execute one-touch dialing and abbreviated number dialing without through complicated operations to shift to a registration mode. SOLUTION: After inputting a destination number with a ten key 8a (ST 1), the inputted number is collated with a registration number of a one-touch/abbreviated registration table 5a (ST 3). When it is not registered beforehand (ST 4), an inquiry message of the necessity of the registration is displayed at a display part 7 (ST 5). When a user presses a button of "a single-operation registration is required" or a button for "abbreviated registration is required" at the display part 7, and when the decision for the need of the registration becomes "YES" (ST 6), it is shifted to a single-operation/abbreviated registration mode (ST 7). At the completion of the registration, if a start key 8d is depressed, FAX transmission processing is started (ST 8 to ST 11). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
