PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic caisson with a silencing function of air leakage sound, capable of reducing air leakage sound caused by air leakage from a clearance between a wire hole provided in an upper hatch of a material lock, and a wire passing through it, simple in structure and usable being easily mounted to even the existing material lock. SOLUTION: An air reservoir chamber 18 for once accumulating and silencing leakage air leaking from the clearance between the wire hole 12 provided in the upper hatch 11, and the wire 7 passing through it, is connected to the upper part of the material lock 9. The upper part of the air reservoir chamber 18 is provided with a biparting type hatch 20 having the wire hole 21 in the center part and operated to open when a soil discharge bucket 6 passes. An exhaust member 22 is provided for exhausting internal air accumulated in the air reservoir chamber 18, to the outside, and the exhaust member 22 comprises the silencing function.
