PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cream-like oxidized emulsion for applying to hair treatment, having significantly small change in viscosity and texture with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type oxidized cream-like emulsion comprises at least one oxidizer, at least one 8-30C aliphatic alcohol, at least one nonionic and/or anionic surfactant, at least one 6-50C hydrophobic unit and at least one amphiphilic polymer having at least one 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid unit of formula (1) (wherein, X<SP>+</SP>is proton, an alkali metal cation, an alkaline-earth metal cation or ammonium ion) of an isolated form or a partially or wholly neutralized form.
