PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for projection that can obtain a clear image without being influenced by a projection environment, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An anti-reflection layer 14 is provided on an optical diffusion layer 13 of the surface of the screen. The anti-reflection layer 14 includes a wavelength of laser light of each color emitted as projection light from a light source of a projector. Light of a wavelength region within a range of 450 nm or more and 650 nm or less has low reflection characteristics in which a reflectance is 0.5 % or less. Even when excessive light except for projection on the surface of the screen enters, contrast of an image is enhanced since reflection is suppressed with the anti-reflection layer 14.
