PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make working tool exchanging work simple by stopping the rotation of a power transmission system by artificially operating a rotary tool from the outside of a casing. SOLUTION: This rotary tool is provided with an engaging body 6, which has a built-in motor 3 in the casing 2, supports a rotary shaft 5 for mouting the working tool 4 at an external end and rotates integrally with the power transmission system from the motor 3 to the rotary shaft 5. The casing 2 is provided with a locking member 7, which engages with the engaging body 6 disengageably to lock the rotation of the rotary shaft 5, so that it can be operated artificially from the outside.
