PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities that realizes easy manufacture as well as stable operations even if the main cylinder section for a molten metal injection is increased in size, in a hot chamber die casting machine for casting molten metal such as aluminum and aluminum alloys. SOLUTION: In the hot chamber die casting machine, the main cylinder section 13 is equipped with a basin for storing molten metal and a runner 11 for feeding the molten metal from the basin to a molding die. The molten metal in the main cylinder section 13 is pressurized by a force-feeding mechanism and force-fed into the molding die to obtain a molded product. The main cylinder section 13 is composed of an inner and an outer cylinders 7, 8 that are formed with ceramics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
