PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for pet ensuring affording sufficient antimicrobial/ deodorizing effect and nice-smelling effect without the need of any expensive equipment( e.g. a used tea leaves dryer ) through using dried powder of ingredient-unextracted tea or white cedar as an antimicrobial/ deodorizing material. SOLUTION: The sheet for pet is produced by the following process: While carrying out an air suction through the bottom of a lower side water-absorbing paper layer(2b), a mixture comprising 15-30 pts. wt. of pulp, 3-8 pts. wt. of a polymer and 3-8 pts. wt. of antimicrobial/deodorizing powder comprising powdery water-soluble ingredient-unextracted tea or white cedar powder is spread on the water-absorbing paper layer, and the mixture is then covered with an upper side water-absorbing paper layer(2a) and the lower side water-absorbing paper layer(2b) from above and below followed by integrating both of the paper layers and the mixture therebetween together, and the resulting form is provided with uneven pattern by embossing technique for improving the absorptive performance of the form, which, in turn, is covered with a nonwoven fabric(3) and a plastic sheet(4) on each side thereof, and the resultant form is cut off for each unit product, and the peripheral end of each of the unit products is bonded.
