PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display manufacturing apparatus and a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display using the apparatus are provided to manufacture a large liquid crystal display and reduce a period of time required for fabricating a single liquid crystal display panel. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display manufacturing apparatus includes a base frame(100), upper and lower chamber units(210,220), chamber transfer units(310,320,330,340,350), upper and lower stages(230,240), a sealing unit, a pair of low-vacuum chamber units(410,420), aligners(510,520,530), vacuum pumps(610), support units(710), and an optical hardening unit. The upper chamber unit consists of an upper base(211) and an upper chamber plate(212). The upper stage is operated in connection with the upper chamber unit. The first sealing member(213) is interposed between the upper base and the upper chamber plate. The lower chamber unit includes a lower base(221) and a lower chamber plate(222). The lower stage is fixed onto the lower base. The second sealing member(224) is placed between the lower base and the lower chamber plate. |
