PURPOSE: A burglarproof device for a vehicle is provided to prevent the theft of the vehicle by restricting the rotation of a starting key. CONSTITUTION: A burglarproof device for a vehicle is composed of sprags(27) rotatably mounted between the outer case(31) of a key cylinder(30) and an inner rotary body(33) and stopping the rotation of the inner rotary body, a sprag driving unit(25) for rotating the sprags, and an ETACS(Electronic Time and Alarm Control System)(23). The ETACS controls the sprag driving unit to rotate the sprag so that the inner rotary body is not rotated. |
