CASE STRUCTURE OF OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A case structure of an outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to increase blowoff force of air entering and exiting a case and reduce a noise by removing passage resistance due to a motor mount, and accurately support a fan motor and an outdoor fan. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit for an air conditioner includes a compressor, a condenser, a fan motor, and a motor mount(5). A case(10) of the outdoor unit has a grill structure(11) forming an exterior of the outdoor unit, having a predetermined open surface to smoothly exchange internal air with external air. Parts(11a) of vertical grills in the rear part of the grill structure are arranged to correspond to both frame parts(5a) of the motor mount, wherein the vertical grills are thicker than other grills. Parts(11b) of horizontal grills of the grill structure are arranged to correspond to motor coupling parts(5b) of the motor mount.
