PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightening method for a shaped steel and its device by which the degradation of the material near the base part ( K zone ) of the shaped steel, of course, the problems of disturbance caused by bending moment are effectively prevented. SOLUTION: In the method for straightening the shaped steel by using a straightening and rolling mill for plastically deforming the whole vertical cross section of a shaped steel 1 and pinch rolls 4 which are installed on either or both sides of the inlet side and the outlet side of the straightening and rolling mill and with which the position of the shaped steel is restrained in either or both directions of the vertical direction and the right-to-left direction by holding the shaped steel, rolling is performed by tilting a plane including the center axes of upper and lower horizontal rolls of the straightening and rolling mill relatively to the rolling direction by tilting the straightening and rolling mill to the rolling direction or moving either or both the horizontal rolls 2, 3 of the straightening and rolling mill back and forth.
