PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a light emission efficiency for an image display is improved, and in which brightness of a display image can be secured. SOLUTION: This device is provided with microprisms 31 of high refractive index, which are arranged at positions corresponding to organic EL light emitting elements 20R, 20G, 20B and which make light L be refracted, and auxiliary prisms 40 of a low refractive index embedded in a gap V between the respective microprisms 31. In a direction opposite to an organic EL display (opposite direction), light volume of the light L by which visual inspection is carried out as an image becomes the sum of the light volume of the light L1 substantially emitted in the opposite direction from the organic EL light emitting element 20G and the light L2, L3 guided in the opposite direction by using refraction phenomena based on differences of refraction index between the microprisms 31 and the auxiliary prisms 40. Compared with a case that the microprisms 31 or the auxiliary prisms 40 are not provided, a radiation amount of the light L in the opposite direction is increased by the light volume of the lights L2, L3.
