PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a high recording density hard disk drive using a GMR head weak against an electric shock by eliminating discharges between the magnetic head and the disk. SOLUTION: Concerning a spindle motor and a pivot assembly, electric conduction is secured about the part from the disk surface to the magnetic head by bonding each part by using a conductive adhesive at the time of assembly. There is little smearing by the missing filler and a favorable characteristic can be obtained by using an adhesive added with carbon nano-tubes as the filler as to the conductive adhesive.
