PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device capable of effectively absorbing the vibration of an objective lens by disposing an optimal damper mechanism for vibration absorption. SOLUTION: The gravity center G1 of the lens holder 22 of the optical head device 1 is shifted from a support center position (position of a support shaft 21) with respect to a lens holder and a lens holding part 224 in a planar direction in the held state of an objective lens 3 and a driving coil 24. The lens holder 22 includes a first damper mechanism 6 arranged to have a first weight 61 and a first damper member 62 on the coil holding part 224 side, and a second damper mechanism 7 arranged to have a second weight 71 and a second damper member 72 on a side sandwiching the gravity center G1 opposite the first damper mechanism 6. The first damper mechanism 6 is arranged in each of both side positions sandwiching the objective lens 3 with respect to the side face of the lens holding part 224. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
