PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents creating method and a contents editing method capable of creating and editing contents easily which enable stereoscopic view. SOLUTION: In a picture including a figure, by setting a depth in a z-axis direction of each figure drawn on xy plane, each figure exists in each hierarchy set by the gradual depth in the z-axis direction. Then, it is possible to create stereoscopic contents by displaying each figure stereoscopically on the basis of the set depth. Also, by displaying only the figure which exists in the selected hierarchy, it is possible to easily confirm the depth of the stereoscopically viewed contents, even if the display is two-dimensional.
