PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of heating an object at a set temperature by correcting the temperature on the basis of a result of the detection of infrared ray of the heated object, even when it receives the influence of a heating means. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises the heating means 6 for heating the object 5 accommodated in a heating chamber, an infrared ray detecting means 13 for detecting the infrared ray from the heated object 5 and outputting the voltage on the basis of the result of detection, and a controller 14 for calculating the difference between the output voltage before the driving of the heating means 6 by the infrared ray detecting means 13 and the output voltage after the start of the driving of the heating means 6, and controlling the cooking of the heated object 5 on the basis of the output voltage obtained after the correction of the output voltage by the infrared ray detecting means 13 on the basis of a result of the calculation.
