SEALING MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for a vehicle that can prevent entrainment of air bubble even when a connected part has an irregular surface shape and does not cause appearance failure or coating defect. SOLUTION: The sealing material is formed of meltable-curable molded body of a thermosetting resin composition and has a width and length enough to substantially cover discrete connected part. A plurality of communication grooves oriented in one predetermined direction and disposed mutually in parallel are formed in a surface contacting with the connected part. The starting end of each communication groove is one side of the molded body, and the terminal end thereof is another end facing it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
