PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for double sliding doors which is suitable for an auxiliary lock device for, e.g. a crescent lock provided for the double sliding doors, simple in structure, achieves a sufficient crime preventing function and safety, and easily and safely implements desired ventilation. SOLUTION: A lock claw 43 is protrudably mounted on one door 1 of the relatively movable double sliding doors. Specifically the lock claw 43 is protrudably mounted on the double sliding doors 1, 2 when they are locked, and the lock claw 43 is engageable with the other door 2 at an appropriate location. Then a stopper 10 having a plurality of engaging claws 12 protruded therefrom is mounted on the other door 2 at a predetermined location. Further a ratchet cam 25 is rotatably arranged coaxially with the rotating axis of the lock claw 43, and the rotative direction of the ratchet cam 25 is made selectively switchable in one direction. Then a plurality of ratchet claws 33, 34 are protruded from the ratchet cam 25 in a manner engageable with the engaging claw 12, and the ratchet claws 33, 34 are engageable with the engaging claw 12 corresponding to moving directions of the double sliding doors 1, 2.
