PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for straightening a shaped steel by which the degradation of a material near the base part ( K zone ) of the shaped steel, and also the degradation of the accuracy of straightening caused by defective roll position setting. SOLUTION: This shaped steel straightening machine is composed of a straightening and rolling mill 6 for plastically deforming the whole vertical cross section of the shaped steel 1, and one or more pinch rolls 4', 11', which are installed on either one or both sides of the inlet or outlet side of the straightening and rolling mill 6 and displaces the shaped steel in either one or both directions of the vertical or horizontal direction by holding the shaped steel. The machine has a position adjusting device 8 for moving either one or both of the chucks 7, 7' for supporting upper and lower horizontal rolls 2, 3 of the straightening and rolling mill back and forth in the rolling direction to adjust the position.
