PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling truck for working which does not exert the influence of magnetic force to other apparatus built and arranged within the truck even when the magnetic force is acted on a workpiece and even when the magnetic force is not acted thereon. SOLUTION: The traveling truck for working which travels on the surface of the work made of a magnetic material is constituted by fixing and arranging a magnet (11) within a truck body (2) of the traveling truck (1) with a welding torch or cutting torch mounted thereon, by arranging a shutter plate (12) made of the magnetic material moving in-and-out in a space section located between the magnet (11) and the work surface, and by controlling the moving in-and-out of the shutter plate (12) by operation of an operation lever (15) located on the exterior of the traveling truck body (2).
