PURPOSE: A sensor magnet is provided to achieve improved stability of sensing operation by preventing damages of the sensor magnet caused due to centrifugal forces during the high speed rotation of the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A rotor position sensing device comprises a sensor magnet(160) fixed at an end of a rotor which is fixed at the center of a stator press fit on the inner surface of a case of a motor; and a hall sensor arranged to correspond to the sensor magnet and sense the position of the rotor. The sensor magnet is equipped with a reinforcement ring(170) fixed at the outer surface of the sensor magnet so as to increase the stiffness of the sensor magnet. Alternatively, the sensor magnet is injection molded from a plastic material having a magnetism.
