PURPOSE: A variable valve lifter is provided to offer convenience to a worker and to improve working efficiency by having a variable fixing unit with general purpose. CONSTITUTION: A fixing unit(10) includes a bolt assembly(12) having a plurality of bolts(11) radially and fixed to the bottom of a connecting rod(14), and a height control member(16) fixed to the top of the connecting rod and having multi-stage hook units(17). A hooked piece(22) is formed at one end of a handle unit(20), and is hooked in the hook units. A compressing/supporting unit(30) is installed at the handle unit, and includes a ring-shaped compressing unit(32) for compressing a valve spring and a hole formed at the middle part of the compressing unit. A valve cotter protrudes through the hole.
