PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification sound generating device which generates the most suitable notification sound according to its circumferential environment as a notification sound generating device which generates a notification sound when detecting an input from a call button or a sensor. SOLUTION: The notification sound generating device 11 is equipped with an input means 12 of inputting a call signal, a notifying means 13 of generating the notification sound, a sound collecting means 14 of measuring ambient noise, and a notification sound control means 15 of selecting the notification sound according to the circumferential noise state.
