PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip type lever for operating a switch by interlocking with a wire connected with the lever which enables the number of parts necessary for attaching the switch to be reduced, enables installation regardless of selecting a shape of a handle, and enables the switch to be installed highly freely at any place. SOLUTION: In an operation lever 10 of grip type installed slidably near a gripping part 12 of the handle 9, the operation lever 10 is constituted by a lever base part 10b and a lever revolving part 10c, a driving switch 50 for switching on and off power or a power source is provided with the lever base part 10b, an operation piece 52 of the driving switch 50 is arranged so that it is abutted to a convex part provided with the lever revolving part 10c, and a locking pin 14 is fixed by connection at one end of a wire 15 which connects the convex part with a clutch on the side of a main machine or with a speed change gear.
