PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal equipped with a hands-free function and a control method thereof in which a user can speak with barely using his/her hand when originating or receiving a call during driving. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal equipped with the hands-free function includes: a key input means for inputting an operating instruction of the mobile communication terminal; a microphone 140 for inputting a voice message of the user; a display part 130 for displaying an operating state of the mobile communication terminal; a speaker phone 160 for outputting a voice of a calling party to the outside in a hands-free mode; and a control means for searching the name or a telephone number of a person to be called according to the voice message of the user, performing voice guidance via the speaker phone 160 and changing a speech path to the speaker phone 160 to an earphone when setting a secret call.
