PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that though channelization to multiple channels is made possible in digital broadcasting, a function for enabling a viewer to simultaneously receive and demodulate two programs is required for a receiver for digital broadcasting and a plurality of frequency channels are required to be simultaneously received. SOLUTION: In the receiver for digital broadcasting having two systems of high frequency signal input terminals and tuner circuits, suitable reception characteristics are held without depending on the content of a received signal by providing the front stage of the tuner circuit with a signal switching circuit and switching the transmission path of a signal of the signal switching circuit according to the structure of programs to be viewed.
