PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate taking-out device 11 capable of surely taking out printing plates 13 one by one with a simple structure and being small and low-cost. SOLUTION: A separating member 35 having a tilted surface 36 is installed on a taking-out device main body 12. The separating member 35 is arranged at a position above an edge side suction pad 19 in lowering which sucks the printing plate 13, and when the edge side suction pad 19 sucks the printing plate 13, the separating member 35 does not interfere in the printing plate 13. An edge part 13a of the printing plate 13 is brought into contact with the tilted surface 36 of the separating member 35 and an edge part 13a side of the printing plate 13 is curved into a substantially mountain-shape by a raise of the edge side suction pad 19 sucking the printing plate 13. A printing plate 13 on a lower side is separated from the topmost printing plate 13 by generating a gap between the topmost printing plate 13 and the printing plate 13 adhering to the lower side of this topmost printing plate 13 and introducing air into the gap.
