PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension applying apparatus applying a necessary tension to a transplant ligament tissue and suppressing slack and extension beforehand in an organism. SOLUTION: The cloth-shaped or braid-shaped transplant ligament tissue is fixed to a fixed clamp part and movable clamp part respectively and the movable clamp part is pushed and moved using a spring force of a pushing spring pushed by the movement of a pushing sliding piece, which is provided by installed in a fixed shaft and a screw shaft, so that the transplant ligament tissue is extended by the necessary length and added with appropriate tension and extension. This constitution can suppress the slack and the extension in the organism beforehand so as to provide the transplant ligament tissue with superior morphological stability and quality.
