PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel with which lure action is carried out without hindrance in fishing. SOLUTION: In a fishing reel with which a fishing line is wound on a spool 7 attached to a reel main body 1 through a fishing line guide part 22 by the rotation operation of the handle 5 of winding drive mechanism 13 arranged at the side part of the reel main body, a revolving shaft 6 linked and rotated by the rotation operation of the handle 5 is equipped with an auxiliary operation member 30 for winding a fishing line through a one-way clutch 25 and the operation part 31 of the auxiliary operation member is arranged at a position in which the operation part is operated by the finger of the hand holding a fishing rod.
