FIELD: railway transport; maintenance of permanent way. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for tamping ballast under rail track. Proposed hammer head consists of body and plate installed on lower end of body and provided with lower edge located at a distance from body, and side surfaces spaced in direction of lower edge of plate and passing square to plate and connecting front side with rear side of hammer head plate. Cylindrical inserts made of hard alloy are fitted in plate, limiting surface of inserts adjoins side surface of plate. EFFECT: improved wear resistance of tie-tamper hammer head. 4 cl, 6 dwg |
