摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection quantity control system of an internal combustion engine for further properly determining a fuel injection quantity when restarting the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel injection quantity control system performs motoring of the internal combustion engine by an electric motor M just after the internal combustion engine 10 stops by the realization of an engine stopping condition, and sets an actual fuel sticking quantity to (almost) zero by forcibly separating fuel sticking to an intake passage constituting member by a flow of air generated in an intake passage of the internal combustion engine from the intake passage constituting member. Afterwards, when starting injection of the fuel for restarting by the realization of the engine starting condition, a prescribed quantity of fuel predicted as actually sticking to the intake passage constituting member is injected in advance into the intake passage at prescribed time after restarting, and estimation of a fuel sticking quantity is started in a state of setting an initial value of a fuel sticking quantity estimate to the intake passage constituting member in the prescribed quantity.
