<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of prior arts that a user takes much of trouble with operations in the case of using an electronic desk calculator mode provided with a mobile phone because the user starts the electronic desk calculator mode by way of a menu indicating a plurality of modes including the electronic desk calculator mode. <P>SOLUTION: In a multifunctional electronic apparatus, for example, in a waiting mode of a mobile phone 1, when a user operates numeric keys of a key operation section 3 to enter a numeral, a display section 7 displays the entered numeral and a short-cut key shifting to the electronic desk calculator mode. When the user operates the key operation section 3 and depresses a key corresponding to the short-cut key, the electronic desk calculator mode is started. Then the multifunctional electronic apparatus can recognize the numeral entered in the waiting mode as at least part of arithmetic entry numerals to save the operation trouble of the user and to realize operations visually and easily understandable by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
