PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread installing structure for easily performing the driving work of a wedge 1, preventing the wedge 1 from slipping off from an installing groove 2, and housed with an excellent outward appearance. SOLUTION: In this tread 3 installing structure, the installing groove 2 formed at this side is arranged on a side plate 4, and a tread 3 is inserted into this installing groove 2, and the wedge 1 is inserted and fixed so as to fill up a clearance formed between the under surface of the tread 3 and the installing groove 2. The wedge 1 is formed as a truncated quadrangular pyramid becoming small in a width as proceeding to a tip, and also becoming small in a thickness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
