MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR CLEANING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process for a cleaning material which reutilizes waste plastics and waste clay to produce a product having the same function as an existing product without causing an environmental pollution.

SOLUTION: Ground waste plastics and a dried powder of waste clay are mixed to be kneaded along with water and the synthetic clay thus kneaded is molded to form a molding having a specific shape. This molding is baked in a baking furnace and, after the baked molding is gradually cooled to be hermetically closed, a raw gas is supplied into the baking furnace and the baked molding is coated with carbon to manufacture the cleaning material. The mixing ratio of the ground matter of waste plastics and the powder of waste clay in the kneading process is set so that waste plastics is about 40% and the waste clay is about 60% in dry weight ratio.
