<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control device which performs shift up even when shift down to a gear range where vehicle speed can not reach cruise set vehicle speed is performed during fixed speed running control. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission control device is provided with a shift-down control function to shift down a transmission during the fixed speed running control to match the vehicle speed with the set vehicle speed by fuel injection quantity adjustment of an engine. The device is provided with a shift-up control function to shift up the transmission when the number of revolutions of an engine exceeds the prescribed number of revolutions L4 for a period after the implementation of the shift down to the time the vehicle speed matches the set vehicle speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
