PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a software program to be mounted on a measuring instrument and to miniaturize the measuring instruments. SOLUTION: This system is provided with: a plurality of measuring instruments 1 which respectively have a sensor 133 and measure an environmental state quantity representing an environmental state; a database server device 3 for storing sensor information including measurement result information of the measuring instruments 1 and measurement conditions of the measuring instruments 1; a monitor 2 connected to a DB server 3 through the Internet 9 in a communicable way and for monitoring measuring states of the measuring instruments 1 and controlling measuring operations of the measuring instruments 1; and a data controller 4 which is connected communicably to the monitor 2 and the database server device 3 through the Internet 9, is connected to the measuring instruments 1 through a local area network 8 and for controlling data exchange between the measuring instruments 1 and the monitor 2.
