摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shifter equipped with a shifter bias circuit for application to a thin-film transistor liquid crystal display device (TFT-LCD). SOLUTION: The shifter bias circuit is configured to adjust the threshold voltage of an input terminal transistor of the level shifter by biasing the shifter body of the input terminal transistor. This level shifter is able to operate with low power consumption at a high frequency while a low-level signal is inputted. The threshold voltage of the input transistor can be adjusted by incorporating the bias circuit, so while the input signal is varying in level, the threshold voltage can be adjusted. The level shifter is therefore able to operate in a low-voltage environment, i.e. at the high frequency and further the consumption of DC when a static logic circuit is used as the bias circuit can be eliminated.
