PURPOSE: A fingerprint recognition credit card checker and a commercial transaction system using the same are provided to safely perform commercial transaction by using the fingerprint recognition credit card checker strengthening an authentication function with fingerprint recognition. CONSTITUTION: A key input part(202) inputs various kinds of operations such as transaction particulars. A card reader(208) reads the information recorded in a credit card. A fingerprint recognition sensor(206) extracts fingerprint data by scanning a fingerprint of a customer. A display part(212) displays various kinds of information. A communication part(216) requests a transaction approval and receives a result through a communication network. A controller(210) performs a function corresponding to the user's operation inputted from the key input part, requests the transaction approval by transmitting the credit card information and the fingerprint data to a server through the communication part, makes the display part display the transaction information and various kinds of states, and completes the transaction if the transaction is approved.
