PURPOSE: A computer system and a video signal displaying method thereof are provided to use a display device as a mirror by displaying a video signal of a video camera to the display device with the simple button operation. CONSTITUTION: A display mode selecting button(15) selects the video signal display of the video camera(29) by installing to the display part. A controller(21) operates a video camera driver program(28) stored in a memory(27) when the video camera display is selected through the display mode selecting button. The display part includes a microcomputer(16) to transmit the selection signal of the display mode selecting button to the computer main body through a DDC(Display Data Channel) communication pin installed to a video connector(11) connecting the display part and the computer main body.
