PURPOSE: A mobile communication system providing a position alarm function and its driving method are provided to inform a user that he/she arrives at a desired place or nears an intended area through a mobile communication terminal in case of his/her first trip. CONSTITUTION: An originating terminal inputs alarm position information(S41). The selected or inputted arrival position information is stored in an alarm position information server in an alarm controller(S42). Current position information of the user is detected, namely, a position of a terminating terminal is checked, and periodically supplied to the alarm controller(S43). When arrival position information of the user is detected, arrival position alarm information is transmitted(S44). Alarm information is outputted to the terminating terminal(S45). |
