<p>A folding pitch-mark repair tool (2) comprising a housing (4) to which a two-pronged fork (6) is rotatably mounted for retraction of the fork (6) into the housing (4). The housing (4) is formed with a recess (12,14) which, when the fork (6) is fully retracted into the housing (4), exposes a portion of the inner edge of one of the prongs (16) of the fork (6), against which a thumbnail or fingernail of a user may be pressed to extract the fork (6) from the housing (4). Such an arrangement substantially reduces the risk of accidental damage, both to the prongs of the fork (6) and to a user's clothing, when the tool (2) is not in use.</p> |
