<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for making a printing plate capable of utilizing the same screen fabric as that for general printing plate without increase of making time and a production cost in comparison with the printing plate of general thickness when the printing plate for a special usage named as thermography is made, and to provide the printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: A plate coated film-making material containing a thermal expandable material is used as ink. A plate image is formed by spraying the ink on a surface of a porous substrate 7 with an inkjet head 11 and the like. The plate coated film having a specific thickness is made by expanding the plate film coated material made like such the image by heating by a heating means 4. When printing is carried out by using the printing plate having the specific thickness, a transfer amount of the ink comes to be increased by a thicker amount of the plate coated layer as being compared with the printing plate of general thickness, and the thermography comes to be capable of being carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
