PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable tile carpet using a recyclable material and a method of manufacturing the same, which is effective for recycling used tile carpets having base members backed with vinyl chloride resin layers, scraps produced during manufacture, and the like. SOLUTION: The recyclable tile carpet is manufactured by scraping off the backing layer of a disused tile carpet backed with a vinyl chloride resin, mixing the scraped powder, or preferably further pulverized and isolated powder with vinyl chloride resin paste sol at a ratio of 0.5 to 20wt.%, applying the mixture onto a Teflon (R) belt with a coater, and laminating base members formed by tufting piles on a base cloth to form a resin backing layer on the rear surface of the base member.
