PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyamide fiber used for seaweed cultivation net, having good adhesion to spores, excellent in strength and flex-fatigue resistance, and also easily and inexpensively producible. SOLUTION: The polyamide fiber is used for seaweed cultivation net, and contains a water-absorbing resin, preferably 1-10 mass% of a polyalkylene oxide degenerated substance. The polyamide fiber has a lot of fine lines having the width of≤2μm at the surface of the fiber so as to be improved in the adhesion to spores and the growth and development. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
