PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression/expansion method for compressing/expanding documents (in English and Japanese) while using a compression/expansion table of chaos by excluding data which are redundant in comparison with a human resolution with respect to images and audio although the compression/expansion has to be completely reversible. SOLUTION: While excluding redundancy of the digital file, pre-processing is performed for replacing with a code having many "0" and a little "1" to lower a G1 entropy. The digital file is compressed by the compression table of chaos just for the G1 entropy in pre-processing. A cryptographic key exchanges arrays of codes which do not affect the G1 entropy while defining the arrays in a permutation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
