PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve positioner capable of outputting a signal regarding the necessity of maintenance to the outside by perceiving abnormality prior to occurrence of the abnormality such as hunting and temperature abnormality and capable of realizing such a function with a much simpler constitution. SOLUTION: The valve positioner is composed to have the following characteristics. It is provided with a movement angle cumulation means to cumulate a movement angle of a motor-driven actuator based on an operation angle position by an angle detecting means and a maintenance information output means to output the information regarding the maintenance of the valve positioner on the basis of the result of cumulation of the movement angle cumulation means.
