PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and working efficiency in a bridge inspection operation, by moving a work bench to an outer work location easily across a noise barrier within a specific work area, and to make a bridge inspecting vehicle compact and light by simplifying the structure in the bridge inspecting vehicle. SOLUTION: A main swivel base 15 is provided on a body 12 so that it can turn horizontally. First and second booms 18, 22 are connected to the main swivel base 15 rotatably up and down. A sub swivel base 27 is connected to the second boom so that it can turn horizontally. The third and fourth booms 28, 33 are connected to the sub swivel base 27 so that they can be rotated up and down. A work bucket 37 is connected to the tip of the fourth boom 33. An actuation controlling apparatus 86 turns horizontally in synchronization with the main swivel base 15 and the sub swivel base 27 when the boom is automatically developed and housed by the operation of a lever 93 for automatic operation, thus moving the third and fourth booms 29, 33 sideways while maintaining them in parallel with a vehicle.
