PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having improved wearing properties and fitting properties in which both sides of an absorbing body at a crotch part are bent downward to arrange the absorbing body along the internal side surface of the femoral region of a wearer. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 has at least two fastening tapes 51 and 52 on each of its left and right parts and longitudinal concave leg edges 11 on both sides in the longitudinal direction. When the distance between the first tape 51 and a waist edge 12 on the back is L1, the distance between the crotch center line CL and the waist edge 12 is L2, and the distance between the second tape 52 and the crotch center line CL is L3, relations between the distances are L1/L2<0.08 and L3/L2>0.6. A linear virtual line of force FL that extends through an end point 53a that locates on the crotch center line CL side of the base end of the second tape 52 and comes into contact with the leg edge 11. The contact point between the leg edge 11 and FL is arranged within a region A1 that locates within 25% of the length of the diaper from the waist edge 12 on the back. When it is worn, both sides of the absorbing body at the crotch part is bent downward to arrange the absorbing body along the femoral region of the wearer.
